King's Terms of Service

Slots: At the beginning of the month, I'll open commission slots. The amount may vary depending on how complex the commissions recieved, and may be closed early for any reason. Any commissions recieved on any platform takes up a slot.

Depending on the platform, once a slot has been claimed, payment will be expected within the next 48 hours (payment options will be explained in the Payment section), otherwise you'll be dropped from the queue so the slot is available.

Once a slot has been claimed, I will continue to work on them in the order that they were received, and will be set as "Slot Taken" on my Trello. They will be updated accordingly as time goes on.

If you want to commission more than one project at a time, you are able to take multiple slots. They will still be finished in the order that they come in.

NOTE: If for whatever reason, you have claimed a slot, and I am unable to finish your commission within the month, it will be pushed to the next months list.

Depending on the platform the commission is received upon, my prices are negotiable, however I will not drop beyond 20% of the original price. I do not do 50/50 (50% now 50% later), and payments must be made up front.

Any commissions recieved on Vgen are fixed, unless otherwise explained.

Any commission recieved over email, private messages, or any other form of communication that is NOT Vgen, are more up to negotiation.

Commissions will not be started if they have not been paid for. Until full payment has been received for a commission, all progress updates will be smaller jpg images with watermarks.

All products presented with a price range are determined by the character, pose, and composition complexity, as well as other impacting factors. Unless its a very simple project, it'll sit closer to the middle of the price range.

(TRADITIONAL ART COMMS) Shipping costs will be explained in the Shipping and Handling section further below.

(TRADITIONAL ART COMMS) Depending on what you want your traditional art to be on (paper,bristol,wood,canvas,tile,etc.) there will be a $5-$40 added to the art itself for the sake of being able to pay for the materials. And another extra $3-25 if you want the paper/bristol sealed or laminated.

Once a commission is beyond the line art/adjustment threshold, it cannot be refunded. A commission is only refundable when; A. It has not reached the line art stage/adjustment limit, or B. The commission has been worked on, but hasn't been worked on in several months due to unforeseen events.. A project taking several weeks, and at most a month, is extremely unlikely. However, if a project has not been worked on in ~1 month, a full refund will be issued.

I am based in Alaska, USA. The average shipping cost to send packages through the states, starting with a Medium Flat Rate Box, (Outside: 14″ x 12″ x 3 1/2" Inside: 13 5/8″ x 11 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ Side loaded), is ~$18 minimum. Shipping the same sized box out of the US is ~$97 minimum.* (Insane, I know) *Not counting package insurance

If a physical product is being bought and shipped, we charge $20USD to US residents, and $45USD to non-US residents, as the cost to ship something out of the country is almost 5x as much as it would be to send something a state over. This will also ensure your package is insured.

Once we wrap up the package and hand it off to the Post Office, we will send you a tracking number for it. Once a package is dropped off at the Post Office, it's their responsibility to make sure it reaches you safe and sound!

The time it takes to ship a package both in and out of the US varies between 6 days to 2 weeks. Lets hope it gets to its forever home sooner than not!

Currently, the average turnout for finishing commissions is 2-6 days at best, and 1-4 weeks if its a really big project, needing continuous work and time.

The things that affect how soon a commission is finished could be; adjustments, finishing touches, different time zones (I'm Alaska Standard Time: GMT:-08:00), and designing tattoos/characters/etc., and even the time between finishing a physical project and having it sent out.

I am chronically ill and have seizures, this can sometimes impact my speed and progress. In the case that this happens, I'm physically incapacitated for 1-3 days. I also have a Recurrent Corneal Erosion, and I am out for up to 4 weeks at a time, and when it occurs it is random and not something I can set preventative measures for. I will post an update when I have to take a small break and when I'm back to working on commissions.

DIGITAL ART: As I send updates on the sketch, feel free to send me adjustments you wish to have. I don't charge for small adjustments like scaling, transforming. However, I will do up to 5 major adjustments (changing hair/pose/clothes/etc.) before charging $5 per adjustment.

Making any adjustments after the line art, will be $15 per adjustment.

TRADITIONAL ART: The sketch phase will be the only phase you can make major adjustments on. I'll send progress photos, and you have to be sure it's what you want. There is no going back and undoing ink, marker, or paint easily. I will show you the colors as I have them, and any color changes AFTER the project has been more than 1/4 colored/rendered, a $20 fee will be added.

You are free to use the commission personally as you see fit. However, You are NOT allowed to; resell the art as your own, repost it on other art-sharing websites without crediting me, use it to train (AI), use it as an NFT.

Commissions cannot be used commercially without paying a commercial fee, which is an added 25% on top of the commission cost. This includes caricatures, reference sheets for characters in games/animations/comics, art used for advertisements, designs for logos, etc.

I maintain the right to upload the finished artwork as my own work. It may be used in the future as a reference on a future commission sheet or portfolio. If you would like to keep the commission private, you can pay an extra fee of 50% of the whole commission and I wont post it to my socials. But keep in mind, I will still hold the right to post it in portfolios, but everything else concerning the commission itself will not be shared. You are free to ask me to blur out or exclude names from me posting it on social media, and Trello.

Reinforcing this: You are not allowed to use my art for machine-learning (AI) or upload it to databases, or websites that do it, or are suspected of it, for such purposes. You are not allowed to make versions of my art using machine-learning (AI).
